Having an accurate gemological report for your valuable jewelry or loose gemstones is important for insurance purposes. If your gemstones are ungraded when they are lost or stolen, you will have no means through which to place an accurate value on your loss.
Our comprehensive gemological reports indicate the specific natural properties of your gems, essentially giving you a “fingerprint” through which to recover your losses. Every report we complete verifies the gemstones (i.e. sapphire, ruby, diamond, emerald etc.) and notates any concerns that may affect durability or aesthetic appeal.
We are happy to contract with jewelry stores to identify and grade gemstones as needed.
Have you recently purchased antique, vintage, or pre-owned jewelry? If so, your gemstones most likely came with no paperwork. Ensure the authentication of your pieces with our gemstone verification services. In many cases, our clients discover that their gemstones are worth even more than they previously suspected.
Are you are considering buying or reselling your loose diamond or diamond jewelry? Let us provide you with a complete diamond report. Your report will include a Diamond Plot and detail the "4Cs": Color, Clarity, Cut, and Carat (GIA Scale). This comprehensive report will document additional information such as proportions, finish, and any additional findings specific to your individual diamond.
*As professional Gemologists, MB&B only allows GIA and AGS Master Stones (DIAMONDS) to be used for the purpose of Color Grading diamonds.
